1. Who we are

WWNGO ("we", "us", "our") operates the website wwngo.com — a peer-to-peer marketplace connecting parcel senders with travellers already flying their route.

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and French data protection law (Loi Informatique et Libertés), WWNGO is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

2. What data we collect

We currently collect only the minimum data necessary:

• Email address — when you submit our beta signup form
• Cookie consent preference — stored locally in your browser
• Usage data — if you consent to analytics cookies, we may collect page views, session duration, and referral source (no personally identifiable information)
• IP address — collected automatically by our hosting provider (Netlify) for security and performance purposes

We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data at this stage (beta signup only).

3. Why we collect it & legal basis

Every piece of data we collect has a specific, documented purpose and a lawful basis under GDPR Article 6:

• Email address — to send you beta access updates and product announcements. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw at any time.
• Analytics data — to understand how visitors use our site and improve it. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), collected only after you accept cookies.
• IP address / server logs — to maintain security and prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We will never sell your data, use it for advertising on behalf of third parties, or process it for any purpose incompatible with what is stated here.

4. How long we keep it

• Beta email list — retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or until 12 months after WWNGO launches publicly, whichever comes first
• Server/access logs — retained for up to 30 days by Netlify for security purposes
• Analytics data — retained for up to 13 months, then automatically deleted

When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

5. Third parties & processors

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate this site. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf under a data processing agreement:

We do not use advertising networks, data brokers, or social media tracking pixels.

6. Cookies

We use the following cookies on wwngo.com:

• wwngo_cookie_consent — strictly necessary. Stores your cookie preference (accepted/declined). Duration: until you clear your browser storage. No personal data transmitted.
• Analytics cookies — optional, set only with your consent. Used to measure site traffic anonymously.

You can withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or by contacting us. We do not use cookies for advertising or profiling.

7. Your rights under GDPR

As a data subject under GDPR, you have the following rights. You can exercise any of them by contacting us at privacy@wwngo.com — we will respond within 30 days.

8. International transfers

Our hosting provider Netlify is based in the United States. Netlify participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which provides an adequate level of protection for personal data transferred from the EU/EEA to the US, as recognised by the European Commission.

We do not transfer your data to any other countries outside the EU/EEA.

9. Children

WWNGO is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted their data to us, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
